New in the Showroom - Bochanvre fabric from Casal

Pattern book now in the Showroom. Come and experience it for yourself.
Casal’s Bochanavre Country house style collection features authentic, natural fabrics made of cotton and hemp. Hemp adds strength, while cotton provides suppleness. The colour palette includes 14 shades achieved through fibre over-dyeing for a harmonious look.

Casal's know-how is reflected in the attention paid to the quality of their fabrics, almost exclusively produced in Europe, as well as its sensitivity to innovation. Browse velvets, chenilles, jacquards or printed fabrics, small contemporary patterns or great classic designs.

All About Audrey - Home transformations

Our company founder, Audrey Johns, shares her sage experience with choices for your home improvements. Her extensive soft furnishings and interior design experience is well worth learning from for the longevity of your project:

“Over the years I’ve been called upon to work on a number of home transformations - during the eighties, large country houses became a speciality. The interiors market was flooded with a formidable choice of elaborate fabrics and trimmings. Initially, customers would come to the pattern book room to see examples of pattern, colour and texture etc. From this they might order some small samples and gradually build a ‘story board’ - a record of textiles, papers, paints and colours that would work together for a lifetime if necessary. The patterns might change over the years, but a range of colours and textures can be added. It’s always great to discover, by chance, a fabulous bit of silk, tweed or embroidery which you can add on at any time. One bright or heightened coloured cushion, or framed piece of fabric, no matter how small, will do wonders to energise a whole room.”

Audrey Johns is now a fine art painter, spending her time creating beautiful pieces that are exhibited at The Waterfront Gallery in Milford Haven and our Brunel Quay Showroom.
